This is a learning intervention programme which offers a unique approach to extending children’s number knowledge, understanding and strategies. The programme offers an extremely detailed profile based assessment of pupils and provides a framework for individual, group or class based instruction which is suitable for all children. A child in maths recovery will have 35-40 individual learning sessions with the maths recovery teacher -one lesson per day. The current maths recovery teacher is Aileen 0’Connor.
